Goal setting forms for success

Work on your motivation through goal setting, boost your success rate!

Good, you have arrived at step 3: Goal setting forms for success.

It is time to really boost your chances of becoming a successful small business owner with the goal setting lesson plan.

So many people who start their own small business forget to set their goals at the beginning of their endeavors. And they end up running a business without focus, not knowing where they are going or they forget the very reason why they started a biz in the first place;

To become rich and create freedom.

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.

Learn how incredibly wealthy industrials, Indian Masters and biblical figures used a technique to create whatever they wanted... And so can you on: Goal Setting Games.

I cannot tell you enough how important it is to start your home business with a well set goal, and looking at it frequently. (stick your goal setting forms on your fridge or hang them on your dream board!)

Goal setting lesson plan

To become a successful small business owner (or any other achievement you desire actually), there are four key techniques that will help you succeed;

  • having the right kind of plan
  • telling your friends and family
  • focusing on the benefits
  • reward yourself every step of the way

To help incorporate these techniques into your life, I have created unique goal setting forms that can be used when attempting any kind of change.

Read the questions, think about every aspect, your reward will be in knowing where to go and how to get there!

GOAL SETTING FORMS FOR SUCCESS

1. What is your overall goal? (insert your goal from step two here)

2. Create a Step-by-Step Plan

Break your overall goal into a maximum of 5 smaller steps. Each step should meet the smart goals criteria. Remember? (Specific...Measurable...Achievable...Realistic...Time-bound.)

Think how you will reward yourself each time you reach a sub goal. The rewards could be anything you like, perhaps sweets, new shoes or clothes, a new IPhone, IPad, a dinner etc. etc.

The following steps are inspired by Richard Wiseman in his book 59 seconds. 59seconds.wordpress.com

Step 1

My first sub goal is to...

I know I can achieve this goal because...

To achieve this sub-goal, I will...

This will be done by the date of...

My reward for reaching this goal will be...

Step 2

My second sub goal is to...

I know I can achieve this goal because...

To achieve this sub-goal, I will...

This will be done by the date of...

My reward for reaching this goal will be...

Step 3

My third sub goal is to...

I know I can achieve this goal because...

To achieve this sub-goal, I will...

This will be done by the date of...

My reward for reaching this goal will be...

Etc. etc. you get the picture.

3. What Are The Benefits of Achieving Your Goal?

List three benefits, focusing on how much better life will be for you and those around you. Focus on the benefits associated with your desired future, rather than escaping the negative aspects of your current situation.

Benefit 1:.................................................

Benefit 2:.................................................

Benefit 3:.................................................

4. Going Public

Going public is a very important step because you cannot weasel out anymore because everybody knows about it...Who are you going to tell about your goal and sub-goals? Perhaps your family, friends or colleagues? Could you describe it on a blog or display it somewhere visible in your house or office?

I will go public by: .....................................

Well done, good work on filling out the goal setting forms! It is time to get some inspiration on the List of small business ideas.
